About FungiG

FungiG is a research group established by Irina S. Druzhinina and Feng Cai in China. The group inherits traditions on Irina's MiBi Microbiology and Applied Genomics Group that she run in the TU Wien, Vienna, Austria. We focus on ecological genomics, diversity, and evolution of hypocrealean fungi, in particular Trichoderma. In China, we re-establish the research on DNA Barcoding, taxonomy, and identification of fungi, and continue working on surface-active proteins such as hydrophobins and cerato-platanins.
