About FungiG

FungiG is a virtual research group established by Irina S. Druzhinina and Feng Cai during our joint research in China (2018 - 2022). The group inherits traditions from Irina's MiBi Microbiology and Applied Genomics Group, which she used to run in the TU Wien, Vienna, Austria. We focus on ecological genomics, diversity, and evolution of hypocrealean fungi, in particular Trichoderma. We are also interested in the research on DNA Barcoding, taxonomy, and identification of fungi, and we continue working on surface-active proteins such as hydrophobins and cerato-platanins.
